 In our ongoing
research to provide you with insights about living the active
adult lifestyle for less we have focused this article on the New
England states. While New England consists of Connecticut,
Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont –
our investigations (for this article) turned up communities
within Connecticut and New Hampshire.
In response to an inquiry from one
of our subscribers asking what is available within the New
England states for less than $200,000 our search first yielded a
Connecticut community in Hamden in where the developer
advertises a 1 bedroom 1,100 s We also checked in with Jim Miller, our Active Adult Realtor® specialist in New Hampshire, to inquire which (if any) of the active adult communities within his great state had homes for less than $200,000 and we were delighted with his reply! Jim reports that there are 13 different communities within New Hampshire that have housing options for less than $200K. The housing types and locations include (all with prices of less than $200,000)!
Plus . . . Manufactured (resale) Homes on land-lease lots in Manchester from only $114,900 OK! We’re impressed. Perhaps I’m a little biased though since my dad was born in Hinsdale, New Hampshire but I do recall a trip to the New Hampshire countryside as a teen-ager and I was impressed with its abundance of natural beauty.
